Deluxe rollator

A deluxe rollator is a step up from a standard rollator walker. Instead of having a seat that flips up and down, the deluxe rollator comes with a padded seat cushion but also includes wheels which can be used for both indoor and outdoor use. Most users find a deluxe rollator more comfortable when used for an extended time period, as it comes with a seat to be able to rest. Additionally, a deluxe rollator typically comes with a carrying basket for convenience. Having a carrying basket on a deluxe rollator allows its user to be able to go shopping, and continue their daily life as much as possible.

A deluxe rollator is not built to support the weight and size of a very overweight person, so the physician who is recommending the rollator will need to determine if the size of their patient precludes them from using a deluxe rollator.

Often times an individual will use more than one type of rollator. They will use a standard rollator around the home, but will use a deluxe rollator when going out since its frame and wheels are built more rugged than a standard walker rollator.
